The Project is a long-term study of UFO experiences and the people who have them. Begun in 1994, it is scheduled to end in 2015. As such, the Abduction Millennium Project stands as one of the few long-term efforts to gather pertinent sociological and experiential data on (and in) ufology.

The Project has three main foci:
  • Survey Based Research and Analysis
  • Collection of Narrative Encounter Reports
  • Periodic Publications of Findings

When the Project is completed and the data has received its initial analysis and publication, it will be donated to a suitable organization or institution in order to ensure public access to the data by later scholars who are interested in the subject.
